10. Do you farm materials? Why? Why not? & which ones, where?
Up until recently, I could definately say I didn't actively farm materials, but with the new information about a certain little stove which I am DYING to get my hands on, I have been ore farming like there is no tomorrow. Of course I want to get my very own Pierre, and I'm pretty certain others will be as desperate to get him too, so if I can provide the materials for a quick way for those said people to get him as soon as, I will be in the money! He is crafted by Engineers and uses x5 Living Steel and x15 Stabilized Lightning Source - each source is x10 Ghost Iron Bars so quite alot of materials. I think the sources will work like Imperial Silk, as a one day cooldown, but wouldn't want to 100% confirm that.
Guess we will see when 5.2 hits! I know I will be stockpiling till then.

20 Days of Gold Making - Day 9
9.What's your favourite niche market & why?
No big surprises here, but has to be companion/battle pets, really the only part of the market I'm comfortable with for now, and it's so varied which is always fun to log into each day and see who is trying to sell which pet and for how much, usually quite funny prices. For example, I sold a Black Tabby Cat for 3k and the person who bought it upgraded it to a blue quality pet and has it on for 35k now, good luck to them, but not sure it's going to happen :(
Another market I have slightly dabbled in would be the transmog market, I am constantly checking the look of any greens I get from drops, to see if 1. I would consider it for any of my characters enough to buy it on the auction house if it was on and 2. Even if its not transmog worthy, would the stats help someone leveling - especially leather pieces for all those monks out there. I have been running alot of TBC dungeons for plate transmog and I collect alot of greens this way, so its a good learning curve to check out how well the market is on my server. The main tip I've picked up is, if its a quite revealing piece of gear, chances are it will sell. Naughty people on my server it seems!
With these two markets alone, I am kept pretty busy on my bank alt, so who knows where I will branch out to next :)

I never noticed that before...
Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't posted a non 20 days of Gold making post in a while, but I was looking through my screenshots last night and had to post these shots I took. I distinctly remember taking them as the title suggests, I have never noticed the details until now:
Love the Karazhan ceiling, alot of detail for something not necessarily noticed so much, that's why Blizz are so good <3

20 Days of Gold Making - Day 8
8. Thinking back to day 2, did you ever reach your goal or are you still
working towards it? If you reached it - have you set yourself a new one?
I would definately say I'm still working towards the goal, if you class 'making as much money as possible' a valid goal haha! but as mentioned on day 2, I will be setting myself a gold making challenge at the end of this community event, so I could revisit this question in more detail then I think!
I'm well on the way to making a nice amount of gold though, since starting this event, I have made approx 40-45k gold from buying cheap and selling high within the pet market, so hopefully *fingers crossed* it will continue! I would like to break into the mount market also, but currently, my jewelcrafter doesn't know all the panther mount recipes, and the market is quite flooded with those already, have to think about this one a little more.

20 Days of Gold Making - Day 7
7. If you were starting over again (maybe on a new server perhaps), how
would you start building some capital & what goal would you set
yourself?
This question applies so well to my alliance Death Knight, literally only been playing her a couple of months and on a brand new server.
As with every new character, you have to pound the quests to gain money, but also the items they reward, you can't always use so these are perfect ways to build up cash. Also starting professions, especially on a Death Knight, there are no trainers in the starting zone for professions, so you have to speed through to get to Stormwind/Orgrimmar to finish off the starting zone and officially start the game. I blasted my way through these, raced to Stormwind and immediately ran into Ellwyn for some Copper Vein hunting. This was a fantastic way to make money, because it was something I was doing to aid my character anyway, in building her Mining Skill, and I needed gems for my Jewel crafting, so I would grind and grind until I felt I had more than I needed and sold the spare ore and stones for big bucks. Rinse and Repeat until your done! Plus Azeroth Ore and Stones are always a good seller so I had some luck on my side.

20 Days of Gold Making - Day 6
6. Which market has made you the most gold over the years?
I have to substitute years for months I'm afraid with this one!
The best profit is definately since the pets could be caged and the auction house seems to have exploded with pet selling/buying. With the new additions of raid pets and TCG pets being more 'common' on the auction house, you can sometimes pick up a good bargain, for example, I paid 5k for a Crawling Claw and sold it for 13k. I have successful sold LOTS of the raid drop pets, I buy them all for between 300-900g each and sold each for just under 3k. I have also recently bought a Guardian Cub for 4k and sold it for 9k, another lovely profit. I hope to continue this success with many more pets, hoping to make something on those in the next week or so.

20 Days of Gold Making - Day 5
5. Do you keep the same banker alt or do you change them up occasionally? Why?
Hmm well 'gearing' my bank alt with bags which become soulbound, and taking the time to create guilds for them and tabs, which technically I could transfer the rights to another character, I personally don't see the need to change bank alts once they are made.
The only change I made recently to a guild bank alt was the race I picked when I made my new banker on Stormreaver, due to transferring. I had a Blood Elf as my banker on Vashj, but Stormreavers alt is a lady Orc in a lovely pink dress! Haven't been able to find any pink shoes to cover those feet though....

2 Pets, 1 Day!
Sorry couldn't resist the title!
Hey guys,
As the title suggests, I have finally been able to get 2 more pets to add to my collection. Firstly the Argent Squire, I have been doing the dailies on my Worgen to obtain the Alliance version of this Argent Tournament pet and finally got him today - Woohoo!
My second pet is the Dragon Kite! I'm still a bit in shock at finally obtaining this amazing pet. As I was scanning the auction house, checking out the pet section for any I could possibly need or turn a profit on, I stumble across him for 80k. My problem was I didn't have 80k to spend on it and decided to contact the seller to see if they would accept money and a pet which they could sell on if they wish, so my offer was 60k + my spare Eye of the Legion pet, and thankfully he accepted. You may think I'm crazy for paying that much for him, but it secures him in my collection - plus it was on a server I don't really play on anymore, so the money wasn't getting used. Win/win situation!
I love the animations with this pet. I love the swishing tail as you run with it, and the gently flapping wings as the wind hits it. Also if you stand long enough, a lightning bolt shoots through it.
So with my two lovely additions, my current pet total is 503. Only two more Trading Card Game pets to go, unfortunately the two hardest to get - eek!

20 Days of Gold Making - Day 4
4. Do you use a banker alt/guild? When did you start doing that & why?
I have always used a bank alt, for both quick access to an auction house, to buy or sell and storing my precious materials! While I was on Vashj- EU, I had my own guild so I could have the guild bank tabs, which were super tidy and had the tabs named for each profession the mats were for. I have to have a tidy bank, on any character - period. Can't stand a messy bank. When I moved my priest to Stormreaver in December 2012, I had to re-create this which was a bit of a pain, but finally got signatures for my guild, and <ING Direct:> was born! It was amazing how many bank names were already taken, couldn't have HSBC, Natwest, Halifax, LloydsTSB or Barclays. It's too essential to me personally to have a place to store things, as I would hate to sell my materials, and then the next day realise I needed those and then pay more than what I sold them for the previous day!
I still need to create a bank guild on Ghostlands-EU, my alt has frostweave bags so at least I can store a good amount of items, but that is no competition for the guild bank tabs.
I was also advised that for my bank character, a Monk would be amazing due to the Roll ability at level 5, a quicker way to move around, so my two latest guild bank characters have been Monks!

What's your daily ritual when you first log in for the day?
Hey guys,
I have just tidied up my desk from the clutter which is post it notes containing reminders of things I need to do on WoW, either for achievements or for my blog. It got me thinking of how everyone would go about starting the day, before they get into the dailies, pvp, pet battles, whatever you do for most of the day.
If you could post on your blog with this posts title, could be a mini community event from me!

- Check my three servers bank alts - have to check if anything has sold, but more importantly, whats for sale on that server, hate the thought of missing any bargains!
- Check my three servers Black Market Auction houses - again, I would kick myself if I missed something amazing.
- Log my Priest - she is parked in Icecrown most of the time so I have a quick fly around checking for whelpy, and then hearth to do my cloth and shard cooldown and then its back to Icecrown.
- Log my Death Knight - Also check Icecrown for the elusive whelp.
- Finally start my day - Get to work on those dailies!
